    If you've denied Lightstream access to your webcam and microphones inside of your browser, you can click on the camera icon in your address bar at the top right and change the option to "Always allow".   • Why aren’t my video and audio synced??
    If you notice a desync on your stream there may be a few things in your Lightstream project space you need to double check.   • I receive an error saying my account is already linked to another Lightstream account
    At the moment a platform account can only be linked to a single Lightstream account. If your streaming platform account is currently tied to another Lightstream account and you'd like to move it, please follow the steps below.   • What ports do I need to open for Lightstream to work properly?

  • Why can't I hear my voice when streaming?
    To ensure your voice comes through properly on your stream, you must add your microphone to the scene you're broadcasting. You can do so through the green "Add Layer" button. (See: How do I add my microphone?)Few readers
  • How do I configure audio with my webcam?

  • My Elgato isn't showing up as a layer
    We are unfortunately unable to capture Elgato capture cards at the moment due to a conflict in Elgato's newest drivers. We recommend utilizing the Elgato software or OBS and using an RTMP Source to bring in your card. More information about RTMP Sources is available here.Few readers
  • How do I allow Chrome access to my webcams and microphones on macOS?
    Note: These steps may not apply for versions prior to macOS Mojave 10.14. There are additional steps macOS users may need to take for Lightstream to access their microphone and camera. Access your settings by doing the following: Click the Apple menu > “System Preferences”. Then, click the “Security & Privacy” icon. Under the “Privacy” tab, you’ll find a “Camera” option. You’ll want to ensure Google Chrome’s checkbox is selected. You’ll repeat these steps for the “Microphone” option asFew readers
  • My audio device only works in one application at a time not in both (ex. Lightstream and Skype)
    This is caused by Windows' exclusive mode. To disable exclusive mode, right click the speaker icon in the system tray, select "Recording Devices" then choose your microphone and click "Properties". Go to the "Advanced" tab and uncheck both checkboxes.Few readers
  • I'm seeing "Connection Failed" when adding my webcam or screenshare
    If you're seeing this error message this means that your network isn't currently allowing our video traffic to connect properly due to a firewall or another configuration issue. Ensure that traffic is allowed on port 3443 (TCP and UDP) in order to properly allow our video traffic through to your computer.   • Why do I get an "Account Already Linked" message when I try to link my destination?
    Currently a streaming destination can only be linked to a single Lightstream account.
